Our Process
At ACG, we follow a well-developed process flow that incorporates several stages.
Preconstruction
During the Preconstruction stage, we review the preliminary project plan and compile a basic budget and schedule as part of our due diligence. After the project plan is endorsed, we deliver a complete bid with final schedule and value engineering options. Once all permits are obtained and plans are approved, ACG holds a preconstruction meeting with the municipality and owner/developer.
Project Launch
During the Project Launch stage, we conduct a final review of the scope and then the contract is executed. ACG’s contracts are thorough and detailed to minimize unexpected challenges. Each project is assigned a project manager who is well versed in the unique details of your project and acts as a single point of contact for the owner. Our site work contractors conduct weekly on-site meetings with the owner/developer, ACG project manager, and ACG field operations manager.
Construction
As we enter the Construction stage, each project is managed by a highly qualified project manager and installed by experienced teams using the latest technology and equipment for:
- Erosion control, temp ponds, BMPs
- Clearing and demolition
- Grading, rock, walls
- Sanitary sewer, pump stations, outfalls, service to each home
- Water distribution, reclaimed water
- Curb, gutter
- Stone, asphalt paving
- Pavement marking, signage, and backfilling.
Project Closeout & Beyond
Our goal is to complete your project on time and with excellence. Many contractors stall at the close of a project, but we take great pride in finishing strong. Within a week of the first lift of asphalt, our site work contractors walk the site with you and the municipality to create a formal closeout punch list. Our goal is to have the project completely closed out, accepted and under warranty within 30 days or less.
At ACG, we stand behind our work. Every project we complete is backed by a warranty you can trust.
