One of ACG’s business plan priorities was the company’s commitment to hiring a highly qualified CFO from outside the industry to ensure a high level of financial discipline and reporting, and Merle Hendricks was the company’s choice.
A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and a practicing CPA since 1980, Merle’s primary areas of practice are tax, information services, and small business consulting, and he has filled the roles of a controller, CFO and General Manager in private industry. Having worked in construction, manufacturing and food distribution, Merle works closely with the company owners to manage ACG’s financial affairs and is a valuable member of the executive team at ACG.
