Job Description
The Construction Operations Manager will be a key part of our operations team. Duties will include but not be limited to overseeing field operations, planning, and execution of the work. The individual will report to the Vice President and President. Responsibilities will focus on coordinating work among in house forces and subcontractors while ensuring a safe work environment. Candidate must have the ability to manage effectively to hit company targets by driving the construction schedule and budget. Must have the ability to review and understand plans, submittals, invoices, timesheets and all other field related paperwork. Must have a high stress tolerance and able to juggle high pressure situations.
Requirements:
- Experience in civil construction, specifically sitework operations
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and supervise multiple foreman and their crews as well as subcontractors at the same time
- Good communication skills
- Strong understanding of clearing, grading, utilities, and stone, curb, paving operations
- Ability to organize and direct field personnel
- Strong organizational and people skills
- Energetic, great work ethic and team player
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar operations role, specifically in civil sitework

Schedule:
Monday thru Friday (Saturday work as needed dependent upon lost days due to weather during the regular work week and/or the need to accelerate project schedules)
